What we collect

• Email address (required to subscribe)
• First name (optional)
• Consent timestamp and confirmation timestamp
• Hashed IP address and hashed browser user agent (abuse prevention)
• Subscription status (pending, confirmed, unsubscribed)

We do not ask for more personal information than we need to run the list.

Why we collect it

• To send a confirmation email and, after you confirm, updates you asked for
• To record consent and confirmation
• To honor unsubscribe requests
• To limit spam and automated abuse

Lawful basis / consent

You opt in with an unchecked checkbox and confirm via email (double opt-in). We do not treat an address as subscribed until confirmation succeeds.

Sharing

We use infrastructure (hosting, database, and email delivery) to operate this service. We do not sell your email address.

Retention

We keep subscription records while your address is on the list, and as needed to honor unsubscribes and prevent accidental re-enrollment. Contact us if you want your remaining data reviewed or removed where that is appropriate.

Cookies

We use a session cookie for form security (CSRF) and, for administrators, sign-in. See the Cookie Policy.

Your choices

Unsubscribe using the link in any email. For other requests, email hello@nnemipa.org.

Security

Confirmation and unsubscribe links use high-entropy tokens stored as hashes. Passwords for admin access are hashed. We still recommend HTTPS in production.
